Anand Ice Cream & Family Restaurant

We've been here on Railway Station Road for a while now. Most people know us because we're right near Sector 20 in Ulhasnagar No 3. It's a busy spot, especially with the station right there. We started out mostly with ice cream because that’s what people wanted on hot days, but then we added the family restaurant part because families needed a place to sit down and eat a real meal together. Shop No 222 isn't the biggest place in the world, but we keep it clean. It gets pretty loud during lunch and dinner times. You’ll see kids running around with cones and older folks eating their thalis. We don't do anything fancy with the decor, just tables and chairs that work. The kitchen is always busy. Sometimes there is a wait for a table on weekends, but that’s just how it goes in this part of Thane. We try to get the food out fast. It’s mostly locals who come in, people who live nearby or are just getting off the train. We know a lot of the faces. It's just a regular place where you can get a scoop of something cold or a full plate of food without any fuss. The menu has the usual stuff you’d expect. Nothing too complicated. We’re just open every day doing our thing. It's been a long time at this address and we're used to the noise from the road and the trains.
