Sree Ram House Designers

Our office is up on the first floor on Govindaraj Street, right in Tambaram West. Sree Ram House Designers isn't a massive firm with a lot of employees. It's mostly just a couple of us sitting at our desks working on drawings and plans. People come in when they want to build something or fix up their old place. We have a lot of papers scattered around, mostly blueprints and sketches that we are still working on. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. We spend most of our time looking at measurements and trying to make things fit into the space people have. It’s not glamorous work, but it keeps us busy. We use the computers for the heavy lifting, but sometimes drawing by hand is just easier to explain an idea. The fan overhead makes a bit of a clicking sound, but we’ve gotten used to it. Most of our visitors are neighbors or folks from the nearby streets who heard about us from someone else. We don't have a receptionist, so when the bell rings, one of us just gets up to see who it is. We talk about walls, roofs, and where the windows should go. It’s simple work, really, just helping people figure out their houses.
