Annie Architects

Annie Architects is situated at No.39, Ayyasamy Street in Tambaram West, Chennai. We are right opposite the Jain Temple, which is a very busy and central spot. The sounds of the street and the temple are part of our daily life here. It is a lively area, and we have a small office that fits right into the local scene. Inside, it is a bit cramped with all the rolls of architectural drawings and the various folders we keep. We don't have a lot of space for fancy furniture, so every corner is used for something practical like a printer or a storage shelf. Our team is small, and we spend our days drawing up plans and talking about site issues. The heat in Tambaram can be something else, so we keep the fans on high. You can often see people stopping by to ask questions about building their homes or fixing up old shops. We don't use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone with a polished image. We are just a local architecture firm doing our best to get things designed correctly. The desks are always covered in pencils, erasers, and scale rulers. We take our lunch breaks together and usually talk about the projects we are currently sketching. It’s a humble workspace, but it serves us well for the work we do in this part of Chennai, right where all the action is.
