Sivaji Architect

Our place is on Car Shed Road in Avadi, just behind Fathima Stores. It’s a pretty quiet area compared to the main road, which we like. We’ve been working as architects here for quite some time. It’s mostly just us and a couple of helpers. We don’t go in for all that high-end marketing you see these days. We think if you do a decent job, word gets around. Most of our work comes from people in Avadi or the nearby suburbs who want to build a house or add an extra floor. We know the local rules and the way things work with the municipality, which helps a lot. It can be a real headache dealing with all the permits and the paperwork, so we try to take care of that for people. We spend our mornings at the sites and our afternoons at the drawing board. It’s a simple routine. We don’t use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to our clients. We just explain things in plain English so everyone knows what’s going on with their money and their building. Sometimes things get delayed because of the rain or materials not showing up, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s not a perfect business, but it’s what we know how to do.
