Ekta Beauty Care

We are over in Kodungaiyur at No 7/4, Teachers Colony. If you're coming this way, just look for the fish market because we are very close to it. You can usually tell when you're getting near because of the noise and the crowds there. Our shop, Ekta Beauty Care, is a simple place where we take care of local women who need a bit of grooming. Since we are near the market, it gets quite busy on the weekends when everyone is out doing their shopping. The room we have isn't massive, but it's clean and we have a couple of good chairs. We do threading, wax, and some hair treatments. It's mostly just regular people from the colony coming in. I like being in Teachers Colony because it's a bit more relaxed than the main roads. Sometimes the smell from the fish market drifts over if the wind is blowing the right way, but we usually keep the door shut. I've got a small cupboard full of creams and thread and scissors. My daughter helps out sometimes after she finishes her college classes. We don't have any big advertisements or anything like that. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends. It’s just a normal local business where we know everyone’s face and we talk about the local news while I work on their hair or skin.
