Blossoms Beauty Saloon

Blossoms Beauty Saloon is located at No 1443 on Palayakar Street in Porur. We are quite easy to find because we are very close to the church. Chennai can get very hot, so we have some fans going all day to keep the air moving. This is a very old-fashioned kind of saloon. We have been here for a long time and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. We still do the same things though. We cut hair, do shaves, and help people look a bit neater before they go to work or a wedding. The street outside is usually full of bikes and people walking to the church or the shops. We have a few old chairs and some big mirrors that have been here since the start. It is not a place for luxury, just for getting a haircut without spending too much money. Most of our customers are men from the surrounding streets who have been coming here since they were boys. We know most of them by their first names. It is a friendly place where you can hear the local news or just sit in silence while we work. We don't have any fancy equipment, just sharp scissors and a steady hand. We open early in the morning and stay open until the sun goes down. It is just a regular part of life here in Porur and we like being a staple in the community.
