The shop is tucked away on 2nd Street in Kodungaiyur, specifically at number 34/18. It’s in Abirami Avenue, over in the Kkd Nagar area, and we are quite close to the EB office. If you are looking for the place, just look for the building near the office and you’ll see it. The name is a bit unusual, I know, but it’s just what we called it when we opened. It’s a straightforward setup inside with a few chairs and a big mirror that covers most of one wall. I have my clippers and razors all set out on the counter. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s a bit quieter than the main roads, which I like. I usually spend my time between customers sweeping up or just looking out the door at the people passing by. It’s a small space, so it can get a bit tight when there are three or four people waiting. We have a small bench in the corner for that. I don’t use any fancy products or have a big menu of things to do. Most people just come in for a shave or a basic cut. The walls are painted a simple color and there is a calendar hanging by the door. It’s a very basic operation, just me doing the work and keeping the place running as best as I can every day of the week.
