Chennai Saloon

We are located over at No 12 on Sidco Nagar 67th Street. It is quite easy to find if you are coming from the Villivakkam Register Office since we are just near there. The shop isn't anything too big, just a regular place where people from around Villivakkam come to get a haircut or a shave. We opened up here because the neighborhood needed a spot that didn't charge too much and just did the job right. Most days it is just us sitting here waiting for the next person to walk through the door. The fans stay on all day because of the Chennai heat, and we keep the mirrors wiped down. You might see some of the locals hanging out and chatting while they wait their turn. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the scissors and the clippers. The street outside can get a bit noisy with the bikes and people going to the government office, but inside it is mostly just the sound of the radio or someone talking about the cricket score. We have been at this address for a while now and most of the people who live on 67th street know us by name. It is a simple setup with the basic chairs and the usual tools you find in any salon. We just try to keep things clean and make sure nobody leaves looking messy. It is just honest work for the local community.
