Vardhman Steel Corporation

We’ve been running things here at Vardhman Steel Corporation for a good while now. Our spot is at A 5 on Rander Road, right in the Tadwadi area. If you know this part of town, you know it gets pretty busy with traffic and people moving about. We spend most of our days surrounded by steel. It is heavy, cold, and honestly, quite a lot of work to move around. Usually, the morning starts with us opening up the shutters and seeing what needs to get moved. There is no fancy office or air conditioning here. We just have our desks and the space where the metal sits. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road right outside, but that is just how it is. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Most folks just know we are here because they pass by Rander Road every day. My clothes usually have a bit of rust or grease on them by lunchtime. We sit out front sometimes when it’s not too hot just to catch a bit of a breeze. It is a straightforward way to make a living. We don’t have any big speeches about what we do. We just handle the steel and make sure it goes where it needs to go. Tadwadi has changed a lot over the years but our little corner stays pretty much the same. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up late.
