If you come down to LH Road in Varachhali, you will find us at 1, Kirtidham Appartment. It is on the Ishwerkrupa Main Road, which is always noisy with motorcycles and rickshaws passing by. Being in an apartment building for a metal business might seem a bit odd to some, but it works for us. We spend most of our time dealing with different types of metal pieces and parts. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or shavings. It is a small space, so things get cramped pretty quickly when a new shipment arrives. We have to move boxes around just to find a place to sit and eat lunch. My hands are almost always dirty from handling the stock, and the soap in the washroom never quite gets the grey off. People from the neighborhood drop in to ask about prices or just to see what we have in stock. The building itself has seen better days, and the stairs are a bit narrow when you are carrying something heavy. We have been in this spot for a while now. Varachha is a fast area and everyone is always in a hurry. We just keep up with the pace as much as we can. It gets very dusty during the dry months. The afternoon sun hits the front of the shop directly, making it quite bright. We usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. There is a lot of shouting from the street vendors.
