If you come down to the 80 Feet Road in Katargam, you’ll find us in the 4th Block. We’ve got a decent-sized space here for the garage. There’s always the smell of engine oil and old tires around. We mostly work on scooters and bikes, but we handle some cars too when people ask. The floor is always a bit greasy no matter how much we sweep it. That’s just the nature of an auto shop. We have a few lifts and a lot of heavy tools. It gets pretty loud when the air compressor is running. We usually have three or four guys working at once, especially on Monday mornings when everyone realizes their vehicle needs a service. We don't have a waiting room with AC or anything. People usually just stand around and watch us work or go grab a tea nearby. We keep the spare parts in the back room on metal shelves. Sometimes we have to go out and buy a specific part if it’s an older model. We’ve been at this location for a while now. Most of the people in the neighborhood trust us with their vehicles. We don't use fancy computers for diagnostics; we mostly rely on what we can hear and see under the hood. It’s honest work and it keeps our hands dirty. We close up when the sun goes down and the traffic thins out for the night.
