Om Steel Corporation

We are over in the 1st Block at M-8 in Udhna Jakkasandra. It’s a bit of an industrial pocket where people actually make things. Our building is a simple structure that houses all our steel operations. We’ve been part of this area for a while now. The office is just a small room in the front with a couple of old desks and a filing cabinet that’s seen better days. Behind that is where all the steel is kept. It’s noisy and there’s always something happening. We don't use any high-level business talk here. We just deal with the metal and the people who need it. Most of our regulars are local contractors who just drop by to see what we have in stock. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you want to see the steel, you just walk into the back. We keep things honest and simple. Our staff is small, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to helping load a trailer. The neighborhood is full of people just like us, trying to get through the workday. We don’t have a grand vision or a fancy mission statement. We just want to make sure the steel we sell is good and that we’re here again tomorrow to do it all over again. It’s not a glamorous life, but it suits us just fine and we enjoy the daily grind.
