It’s a bit unusual having an iron and steel business running out of a place called Lokhandwala Bunglow, but that is where we are. We are right across from the Law College in Athwalines, so we see a lot of students walking by every day while we are trying to load up trucks. It’s a bit of a mix, the academic vibe outside and the heavy metal stuff happening inside our yard. The bungalow has its quirks, like the plumbing that acts up whenever it rains too hard, but it’s home to us. We don’t spend much on decorating or making the place look like a showroom. The iron sits where there is space, and we keep the paperwork on old wooden tables. My brother and I usually handle the main stuff, and we have a few guys who have been helping us move the heavy loads for years. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first set up here, but we just keep doing what we’ve always done. You won’t find any shiny brochures or big sales pitches if you walk in. Usually, someone will just look up from their ledger and ask what you need. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it keeps us busy enough without needing to be loud about it. We just like the routine of the shop.
