We've been here at Nand Niketan in the Essar Township for quite a while now. Most people around Hazira know the spot. It's a big operation, mostly handling the day-to-day steel stuff. The yard gets pretty busy early in the morning with trucks coming through. We mostly just keep things moving, making sure the shifts are covered and the gates stay open. It’s hot work, especially in the summer months when the sun hits the township hard. A lot of the guys live right here in the colony, so it's a short walk to the floor. We don't do much fancy talking here. It’s just about getting the metal sorted and shipped out on time. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks in the office, but that’s just how it goes. Surat is a busy city, but out here in the township, things have their own pace. We drink a lot of tea during the breaks. You'll see us standing around the F4 block talking about the latest schedules or just complaining about the heat. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The machines are loud, and there’s always dust in the air, but the work is steady. We’ve seen the township change over the years, more houses, more families. It’s a community, really. We just show up, do the shift, and try to keep everything running without too many hiccups. That’s pretty much the whole story of our place here.
