Mittal Steel Trade

We’ve been here at Avadh Park for quite a while now. Most days start pretty early because that’s when the trucks usually show up at Dhaboli Char Rasta. It’s a busy spot in Sagrampura, so there is always noise from the traffic outside. Our space isn't fancy or anything like that. It is just a place where we keep the steel stocks and handle orders as they come in. My desk is usually covered in papers and notes about weight and sizes. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy when a big shipment arrives, but we sort through it eventually. People from around here know where to find us if they need something specific for a project. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out in the yard checking the piles. It gets hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is. We try to keep things moving so nobody is waiting too long. There’s no big corporate office or anything. It’s just us doing the work day in and day out. The gate is almost always open during daylight hours. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but our little corner stays mostly the same. If you walk past the park, you’ll see the sign. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, dealing with metal and making sure people get what they paid for without too much fuss.
