Kudeshvar Mahadev Steel Centre

Our shop is at number five on Varachha Road, right there in the Samarpan Apartment building. It’s easy to find because we are directly across from Kamal Park. You can usually hear us before you see us because moving steel around makes a lot of noise. It’s heavy stuff, and we spend a good part of the day loading and unloading various pipes and rods. We’ve been in this spot for some time, just helping people out with whatever steel they need for their houses or small workshops. The traffic on Varachha Road is always something, especially in the afternoons when everyone is out. We don’t have any fancy decorations inside, just racks of metal and the tools we need to move them. It’s a bit dusty and the floor is always grey from the steel, but that’s just the way a steel centre is. Sometimes people stop by just to ask about prices or to see what sizes we have in the back. We try to keep a bit of everything, but space is limited. We know the neighbors pretty well by now. The tea stall nearby is where we usually go when things get a bit slow. It’s just honest work, really. We open up, do the lifting, talk to the customers, and close up when the sun goes down. Kudeshvar Mahadev Steel Centre is just a simple part of the street here.
