Kajal Steel Industries

Our business is at B/26 in the Uday Industrial Estate, right across from the GIDC Police Station near Adinathnagar. Because we work with steel, it is almost never quiet in here. There is always the sound of machines running or the clanging of metal being moved around. It is a bit of a gritty environment with dust and the smell of industrial grease, but that is just the nature of the job. The workshop is big and wide open so we can handle the large steel pieces without hitting anything. We have a tiny office space in the corner for the computer and the files, but we spend most of our time out on the floor. It is very easy for people to find us because the police station is right there as a landmark. The industrial estate is a very busy place with lots of other small factories and workshops all around us. We have been working here for years and we are used to the heat and the heavy lifting. We wear our work clothes and usually have some dirt on our hands by the end of the shift. We don't have a fancy lobby or any marketing people. We just focus on cutting and shaping the steel for whatever order we have that day. It is hard, physical work but it is what we know how to do best.
