We operate out of Plot No. A/11/2 in the Ichhapore Bhatpore Gidc area. It’s right near Hazira Chowkdi, so there are always a lot of heavy trucks and industrial activity happening right outside our gates. Abhishek Ispat Pvt. Ltd. deals mostly with steel products and industrial materials. The air around here usually smells like metal and machinery. We have a yard where we keep the inventory, and it gets pretty busy when the deliveries arrive. Most of the guys working here have been in the steel trade for years. It is a dusty environment, especially in the summer months, but that is just part of the job in a Gidc zone. We don’t do much in the way of fancy meetings. Usually, it’s just us talking to contractors or loading up trailers for transport. The office is small and sits right at the front of the plot. We spend a lot of time checking weights and making sure the orders are right before they leave. Hazira Chowkdi is a major landmark for us, so people usually find us by using that as a guide. It’s a hard-working place. We don’t have a lot of frills here. We just buy and sell steel and make sure it gets to where it needs to go. The phone rings a lot with people asking about current stock or delivery times. It is just a standard industrial operation in a busy part of town.
