Hidustan Lokhan Bhandhar

We have been here at 6 Varachha Road for quite some time now. People usually find us easily because this part of Patva is always busy. The shop, Hidustan Lokhan Bhandhar, is mostly filled with iron and metal stocks. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular spot with lots of heavy stuff piled up. Most days start with us moving things around to make space. It gets a bit dusty with all the metal, but that is just how it is. We spend a lot of our time helping folks who come in looking for specific iron pieces for their own projects. Sometimes they know exactly what they need, and other times we just look through the stacks together. The noise from the road outside is pretty constant, so we have to speak up a bit. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. If you walk past the Patva area, you’ll see our sign. It is a practical kind of business. We don't do much besides keeping the inventory ready and making sure people get what they came for. There isn't any air conditioning, so we keep the doors open. Usually, we are just busy with the daily routine of unloading trucks or cutting metal down to size. It’s hard work, but it keeps us going throughout the week. We just try to keep things simple and honest here.
