You can find Essar Steel at No:66, Sai Rachna Row House, which is located near the Riverdale Academy on Pal Road. This is in the Adajan area of Surat, 395009. It is a bit of a different setup because there are houses around, so we have to be careful about how much noise we make. We keep our inventory stored nearby and spend most of our time checking what we have left. Local builders often come by to talk about what they need for their next project. The school nearby means there is a lot of traffic at certain times, so we have to be smart about when we schedule the trucks to arrive. It’s just a small team of us working here. We don’t have any big slogans or brochures to hand out. We just show people the steel, tell them the price, and get to work loading it. The office is small and usually has a few invoices and drawings scattered across the desk. We keep a fan running all day because the Surat heat is no joke. Sometimes people are surprised to find a business like ours in a row house area, but we have been here for a long time. We handle various kinds of structural steel and it involves a lot of lifting and counting. It’s a basic operation and we don’t try to make it look fancier than it actually is.
