You can find us over at G-104 in the Diwali Baug Flats. We are right opposite Morar Nagar and not too far from the Ryan International School. It’s a bit of a residential spot for a steel company, but it works for us. We handle the administrative side of things and manage the orders from here in Adajan Patiya. The office is small and filled with folders. We don't have a team of salesmen. It’s just us answering the phone and writing down what the customers need. The traffic on Rander Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to finish up before it gets too bad. We’ve been in Surat for a long time and we’ve seen the city change quite a bit. Our work with steel is pretty straightforward. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just make sure the metal gets moved from point A to point B without too much trouble. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of chai, but we manage. It’s an honest way to make a living. People know they can just call us and get a straight answer. We don't have time for anything else. The sound of the school nearby reminds us when it's almost time to wrap things up for the afternoon. It gets quite loud when the kids leave, so that’s usually our signal.
