We are located at Millenium Residency, right near the Gail Tower on New Rander Road. Being in Surat means there is always something happening. This isn't a big factory floor, just our base of operations in room F 702. We spend our days tracking steel shipments and talking to suppliers. It’s more about the logistics from this side of things. The view of the road is okay, but mostly we are looking at screens or talking on the mobile. It gets busy during the middle of the day. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the business inside and out. We’ve lived in this area for a while so we know all the shortcuts when we need to get to the site. The building is usually quiet, which helps when we are trying to figure out the numbers. We aren't big on corporate talk or fancy presentations. We just tell people what we have and when it can get there. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait around, which is frustrating but that’s just life here. We keep our files in order and try to stay on top of the orders coming in from the local builders. It’s steady work and it keeps us occupied from morning till night. We usually grab lunch from the small shop downstairs and eat while we work because the phone never stops ringing for long.
