Being part of the Nand Niketan Township is a bit different than being in a big industrial park. It’s a bit quieter around I2-48, though the Hazira area itself is always moving. We’ve got our setup here and V. Subramanian keeps things moving along. Working for Essar Steel means there’s always something to do, whether it’s checking logs or coordinating with the main plant. Living and working in the same township makes things easier for the staff. You walk out the door and you're almost there. The weather here in 394270 can get pretty muggy, especially in the afternoons. We spend a lot of time on the phones and the computers, making sure everything is lined up. It’s not always smooth, sometimes the power goes out or a shipment gets delayed, but we just deal with it. It’s a small group of us here, so we all know each other’s names and how we like our tea. We don't have a lot of visitors, mostly just people from other departments dropping by with files. We’ve got some old desks and a few chairs that have seen better days, but they get the job done. It feels more like a community than just a workplace. We keep a fan going all day to move the air. It’s just a normal office life in a quiet corner of Hazira. We try not to take things too seriously, but the work always gets finished eventually.
