We’ve got our place set up on Adajan Road here in Surat. It’s a busy stretch of road and we are right in the middle of all the action. Essar Steel Ltd. has been operating from this location for several years. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular concrete structure with some windows facing the street. Inside, it’s mostly just us working through stacks of invoices and talking to contractors on the phone. The sound of the traffic outside is like background music for us now. We handle a variety of steel products and try to keep things moving as fast as we can. Some days the phone won't stop ringing and other days it’s much more relaxed. We have a small area in the back where we keep some of the smaller items for quick pickup. It gets a bit dusty because of all the construction going on nearby. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the business stays on track. We appreciate the people who have been coming to us for years. The tea here is always hot and the work is always steady. If you’re driving down Adajan Road, you’ve probably passed us a dozen times without even noticing. We like it that way. Just a local business doing its thing and making sure the orders are filled correctly every single day.
