We’ve been here at 70-Umiyanagar-1 for a while now. Most people know us because we’re right across from Dipak Corpo in the Navagam area. It’s a busy spot on Dindoli Road here in Udhana-Surat. We handle a lot of steel stuff every day. Some days are louder than others depending on what’s coming in or going out on the trucks. The sun gets pretty hot out there in the yard. My desk is usually covered in papers and some dust from the road. We try to keep things organized but it’s a working site, you know. People stop by asking for directions sometimes. We just focus on getting the steel moved and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the shift. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just some walls, a roof, and plenty of metal. We see the same faces passing by every morning. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood here. Sometimes the traffic on Dindoli Road gets backed up, but we just keep working through it. If you’re looking for Essar Steel Ltd., this is the spot near the corporation building. We don't have any big signs with flashing lights. It’s just us doing what we do. The tea stall nearby is where we usually take a break. It's simple work but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We have some old filing cabinets that have definitely seen better days.
