We are based in Surat, over in the 395009 area. It's a decent location for a steel business like ours. Being in Gujarat, we are surrounded by a lot of industry, so there is always a demand for what we handle. We keep things pretty simple at the office. There are desks, some computers, and a lot of ledgers for the steel shipments we track. It isn't a place with a lot of decorations. We mostly focus on the logistical side of things, making sure the steel gets from one point to another without too much trouble. Sometimes there are delays with the trucks, but that’s just part of the business. We have a small group of people working here who know the ropes. We don't spend money on big signs or marketing stuff because most of our clients already know where we are. It’s a bit of a walk from the main transport hubs, but it’s manageable. We try to keep a routine, starting early in the morning before it gets too hot. Dealing with steel means things can get heavy and messy, but our office stays relatively tidy. We just make sure the orders are processed and the paperwork is filed away correctly. It’s what we’ve been doing for years now. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a local business trying to do its part in the city.
