Essar Steel Ltd

We are located at No: 304 in the Maya Flats, which is right near the Gail Tower over in Tadwadi. It’s a bit of an interesting spot for a steel company like Essar Steel Ltd because it’s a flat, but that is where we run things from in Surat. Gujarat is a busy place for industry, and being in the 395009 area keeps us right in the middle of the noise. The Gail Tower is a good landmark for people trying to find us. Usually, the office is full of papers and the sound of phones ringing. It’s not a polished corporate floor with marble tiles. It’s just a practical space where we handle the logistics of moving steel around. The traffic in Surat can be a real headache sometimes, especially when we are waiting for news on a delivery. We’ve been at this Maya Flats location for some time now. Most of the staff has been here long enough to know the local shortcuts. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just come in, get the work done, and go home. Some days are slower than others, especially when the weather is heavy, but we keep the office open and stay on top of the paperwork. It’s a simple setup for a steel business, but it works for us and keeps the trucks moving through Tadwadi.
