Essar Steel Ltd

You can find us at I-1/63 inside the Essar Township here in Nandniketan. It is part of the Hazira area in Surat. It is a pretty big township so sometimes visitors get a bit lost looking for the right block. We are usually here early to start the day's work before it gets too hot. Dealing with steel means things are always moving and there is always a phone ringing. We handle the local coordination and make sure the records stay up to date for everyone. The office is just a regular workspace with some desks, some old chairs, and a few computers. Nothing too special to look at if you were expecting a showroom. We have had some rainy days lately that made the walk from the parking lot a bit of a mess. But we keep going anyway. The staff here mostly knows each other really well. We talk about the cricket scores while we wait for the computers to load up in the morning. It is a very practical place to work. We do not use big words or have long meetings that go nowhere for hours. We just see what needs doing and we go ahead and do it. Surat is a busy place for steel and being in Hazira puts us right in the middle of it all. Sometimes the heat gets to be a lot in the afternoons but we just turn the fans up.
