We are Essar Steel Ltd, and our office is at H. No E1/ 13 in the Nand Niketan township in Surat. This place is pretty much dedicated to the people who keep the steel industry running. Being located in Gujarat means we are right in the thick of things when it comes to manufacturing. Our office is inside the township, which makes it very convenient for our staff. It’s a regular house that we’ve set up for business. We handle a lot of the internal coordination and local supply requests from here. The atmosphere in Nand Niketan is very focused on the work at the nearby plants. We don't have any use for marketing slogans or polished corporate images. We just deal with the reality of steel—its weight, its price, and where it needs to go. Most of our days are spent checking inventory and talking to drivers. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. The weather in Surat is often quite humid, so we keep the office cool and just get on with it. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. People know where to find us if they need to discuss an order or a delivery. We don't make things complicated. We just do the work that needs doing every single day. It might not be the most exciting stuff, but it keeps the world building.
