We’ve been working out of Ferrous Towers 1 here in Nand Niketan for a good while now. It’s right on the Surat Hazira Road, which stays busy pretty much all day and night with all the trucks moving around. Being part of the Essar Township makes things a bit easier for the staff because everything is close by. Dealing with steel isn't exactly a quiet or clean job, but it’s what we know how to do. Most of us here at Essar Steel Ltd have spent years learning the ropes of this industry. You get used to the noise and the heat after a while. Our office at I 1-43 is usually a hive of activity with people coming in and out to check on orders or talk about logistics. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get the job done. We try to keep things moving because in the steel business, delays just cause headaches for everyone involved. Sometimes the weather in Surat gets really humid, which makes the work on the floor a bit tougher, but we manage. If you’re looking for us, we’re right there in the township area, easily found once you’re on the Hazira Road. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, more buildings going up and more traffic, but our spot remains the same. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the inventory is where it needs to be.
