Essar Steel Limited

We are located at E2/3 Nandniketan, right about 27 kilometers out on the Surat-Hazira Road. Essar Steel Limited has a big presence here, but our daily life is mostly about the small details in the office. It’s a bit of a drive from Surat city, but you get used to the road after a while. The township has everything we need, so we don't have to head out too often. We handle the day-to-day operations, mostly making sure things are where they need to be. It’s not a polished corporate environment. There are usually a few pens missing and the printer acts up sometimes. But we get the job done. The air out here in Hazira smells like industry, and that’s just fine with us. We aren't here to give you a sales pitch. We just wanted to let people know where we are. Dealing with steel means things can be heavy and complicated, so we try to keep our communication simple. Most of the folks working here have been around for years. We know the routines and we know the neighbors. It’s a quiet life in the township compared to the factory floor, but there's always something to fix or a report to finish. We just take it one day at a time, keeping our heads down and working through the pile on the desk.
