Essar Steel Limited

Our spot is out at E-2/11 in Nand Niketan. It’s part of the Essar Township along the Surat Hazira Road. If you know this part of Gujarat, you know it’s mostly about industry and the docks. Being here at Essar Steel Limited means we’re right in the middle of all that activity. The township is a decent place to be based. It saves us a lot of travel time, which is nice. We spend most of our hours looking at spreadsheets or coordinating with the plant. It isn't a glamorous life, but it's what we do. The office has that lived-in feel, maybe a few too many files stacked on the desks. We don’t have a marketing team writing stuff for us, so this is just how we talk. People around Surat-Hazira Road are used to the noise and the scale of things here. We just try to keep things running smooth from our end. Sometimes the heat in Gujarat gets to be a bit much, but the fans keep spinning and we keep working. There’s a certain rhythm to how things move around the township. It’s practical, honest work. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just us here at the Nand Niketan address, making sure the day’s tasks get checked off. It's a long road from the city center, but this is where the action is for us.
