Essar Steel Limited

Our office for Essar Steel Limited is located at B2 Sant Gyaneshwar, right near the Palanpur Jakatnaka in the Adajan area of Surat. Surat is a very big and crowded city, but this particular part of Adajan feels almost like its own little world. We have got a small space here where we run our steel operations every day. There is a busy intersection nearby at the Jakatnaka, so there is always the constant sound of rickshaws and motorbikes passing by outside. We are not hard to find if you know the local landmarks. The building itself is just okay, nothing very special to look at from the outside, but it serves its purpose for us. We have a couple of old desks and a lot of files piled up in the corners. Most of the day is spent either on the phone or dealing with the logistics of moving metal. The heat in Gujarat can be quite tough in the summer, so we have got a couple of old air conditioners that hum pretty loudly while we work. We have been at this 395009 location for quite a while now. Everyone who works here knows the daily routine by heart. We are not big on any kind of corporate culture. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and then head home to our families. Sometimes the street gets a bit flooded when it really pours, but that is just how things are in this part of town. We keep a stash of tea for when folks drop by.
