Essar Steel Limited

Our office for Essar Steel Limited is located in Gopipura, right at Kaji Ka Maidan in Surat. We are in Smita Apartment, specifically on the 8th floor in flat F. Being in the 395001 area means we are in one of the older, busier parts of the city. If you’ve ever been to Gopipura, you know how tight the streets can be and how much is always going on. It’s a very different feel from the newer industrial zones. We operate from this apartment building, which makes the workday feel a bit more grounded and less like a corporate park. We handle a lot of the administrative work and coordination for the steel business from here. The view from the 8th floor gives us a good look at the city rooftops. It can get a bit loud outside with the market and the people, but inside we just focus on the paperwork and the phone calls. Sometimes finding a place to park near Kaji Ka Maidan is a real challenge, so most of us have our little tricks for where to leave the bikes. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just the regular day-to-day management of steel orders and local accounts. It’s a tight-knit group in the office and we’ve been at this location for a while now. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood. We just take things one day at a time and keep the business running smoothly.
