Kumbharwada is an old area, and we are tucked away inside the Match Factory Compound on Motitalavroad. It is a bit of a maze to get here if you aren't familiar with the turns. The building itself has seen better days, but it holds up well enough for what we do with steel. There is always a rhythmic clanging sound echoing through the compound as metal gets moved around. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and you’ll likely find one of us covered in a bit of dust or checking a ledger at a wooden desk. The air always has that metallic tang to it. We deal with a lot of different people, from small contractors to bigger builders, and the conversations are usually quick and to the point. We don't have time for long lunches or many breaks. Most days we just eat at our desks while looking over the inventory lists. The light coming through the high windows shows all the particles in the air, but nobody really minds. It’s an honest place where we focus on the material and the measurements. Sometimes we have to deal with delays or transport issues, which can be frustrating, but we just manage it as it comes. It is a basic setup, but it works for the kind of heavy lifting we do every single day.
