Ahmedabad Steels

Ahmedabad Steels is located right in the heart of the Khatodara GIDC area. You’ll find us situated behind the Sub Jail and right across from the A to Z Garage. It’s a very industrial part of town, so you can always hear the sound of engines and metal being moved around. The air smells a bit like diesel and oil from all the work going on nearby. We’ve got a decent-sized space for our steel stock, but it fills up fast and things can get a bit messy. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, with all the iron dust and grease, but that’s just the nature of working with steel in a GIDC. We spend our time managing the inventory and dealing with the transport guys who are always in a hurry to get back on the road. The office is just a small cabin in the corner where we can sit away from the noise for a few minutes. Most of the people who come here are workers or owners from other local workshops who need specific pieces for their projects. It’s a busy environment and we’re usually on our feet most of the day. The garage across the way is always loud, and the proximity to the jail makes it a landmark that everyone knows. We just focus on getting the orders out and keeping the yard moving as best as we can. Every day is pretty much the same here.
