Zeeshan Beauty Parlour

If you go to the Main Chowk in Rawal Pora, you will find Zeeshan Beauty Parlour right across from the Munawara Masjid. Being right in the 190012 area of Srinagar means we are always in the middle of everything. The sound of the call to prayer from the Masjid is something we hear every day, and it helps us keep track of time. The shop is modest. We have a few workstations and a tiled floor that we spend a lot of time mopping. Since we are at the Main Chowk, people often pop in just to ask for directions or to say hello. We do hair styling and some makeup work, especially when there’s a function nearby. The chairs are a little worn at the armrests, but they are sturdy. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the routine. Rawal Pora is a busy place, so we keep the door shut mostly to keep the dust out. We don’t have a website or a social media manager. People just know where we are. We keep our prices where they’ve been for a while because we know the people around here. It’s an honest living, and we enjoy the daily routine of the shop. It’s not a luxury destination; it’s just a place to get your hair cut or your face cleaned up by people who live in the same town.
