Looks Parlour

Looks Parlour is right by the bus stand on the Main Road in Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar. Being near the bus stand means it’s always loud and there are people moving around constantly. Our zip code is 190008. The shop is in a very busy spot, which is good for business but sometimes it feels a bit hectic outside. We have a few chairs inside where people can sit while they wait for their turn. It’s a simple parlour, nothing too elaborate. We do hair cuts and the usual stuff that people need. The mirrors are a bit old but they work fine. We get a lot of travelers who just hopped off a bus and need to look a bit more presentable. We also have our regulars from Jawahar Nagar who come in every month. The floor gets covered in hair pretty quickly, so we are always grabbing the broom. We keep the door open most of the time to let some air in, unless it’s winter. Then we keep it shut tight against the cold. It’s just a small shop on the main road. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and go home at night. It’s a basic place for a basic haircut or shave. We try to keep the scissors sharp and the combs clean, that is about it.
