You can find Iqra Beauty Hair Dresser right at the Main Chowk in Hafiz Mohalla. It is in the Buchpora area of Srinagar, which is always busy with people going to and from the market. I started this place because I saw there weren't many spots nearby where folks could get their hair done properly. It is a basic shop, nothing too over the top. We have the usual stuff, chairs, mirrors, and some hair products on the shelves. Being at the Main Chowk means we see a lot of action throughout the day. People drop in while they are waiting for the bus or after they finish their shopping. I try to keep the place tidy, but with so many people coming in and out, there is always hair on the floor to sweep. It is a friendly environment where we talk about local things happening in Buchpora. Sometimes we have a queue, especially during wedding season or before holidays. Everyone is in a hurry then. I have a couple of assistants who help out when it gets too busy for one person. We don't have a big sign, but everyone knows the corner. It is just a neighborhood business. We do what we can to make sure people leave looking a bit better than when they walked in. That is really all there is to it. The tea stall next door is always sending over cups, which is nice when we get a break.
