Cinderellas The Beauty Shop

We are located on the first floor of the Teng Building in Srinagar. If you are familiar with the Bund area, you will find us on Lambert Lane. It’s one of those older buildings that has been around for quite some time. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step coming up. Our shop is a basic place where we do hair and beauty work for the local women. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on people walking by Lambert Lane or hearing about us from their friends. The Bund is a nice area to walk, and we get a lot of people stopping in after their stroll. Inside, it’s just a simple setup with a few stations. It can get quite cold during the Srinagar winters, so we have a small heater to keep things comfortable while we work. We use standard products and don't try to overcomplicate things. Sometimes we get very busy with weddings, and the shop feels a bit small when everyone is talking at once. It’s a bit noisy and chaotic then, but we manage. We aren't trying to be a high-end salon. We just want to provide a place where you can get your threading or a haircut done without a lot of fuss. We open the doors every morning and stay until we’re done for the day.
