We have a place called Bride Beauty Parlour And Pramod Mehandi Designer in Raj Bagh, Srinagar. It is situated between Raj Bagh and Baghat Chowk, right near the New Era School. It is a bit of a local landmark because of the school. We handle all sorts of beauty work for women. Pramod is the one who does the mehandi designs. He sits in one corner and works with his cones. We get very busy during the wedding season. Many brides come here to get their hands decorated and their hair done. The shop is not very large, so it can feel a bit cramped when we have many people waiting. We have some simple chairs and a few mirrors on the walls. We don't have any fancy marketing or a big social media page. Word spreads from one person to another in the neighborhood. We use regular beauty products that we buy from the local suppliers. The weather in Srinagar can be quite cold, so we have a small heater to keep the customers warm. We have been doing this for several years now. It is hard work, especially when we have to stay late for a big wedding party. We don't mind though. It is just how the business goes. We are just a local shop serving the women of Raj Bagh.
