Waseem Beauty Hair Dresser

Our shop is right in Nowhatta, not far from the Jamia Masjid. It’s a busy area and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time now. People around here just call us Waseem Beauty Hair Dresser. We open up early and stay until the evening. Most days, it’s just the usual crowd coming in. You know how it is in Srinagar, especially around this part of town, there’s always something going on outside. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of clippers and people chatting about whatever happened that morning. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights. It’s just a place where you can sit down and get your hair cut without a lot of fuss. Some guys come in every two weeks, others just when they can’t stand their hair being long anymore. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. It’s a small space, so sometimes you have to wait a bit if it’s a Friday or a holiday. We try to keep things simple here. No fancy products or expensive treatments, just regular hair cutting and shaving. That’s how it has always been. The mirrors are a bit old and the floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, but we sweep it up when we can. It’s just a local shop for local people, really. We’re glad to be here in the heart of the city and serve our neighbors every day.
