Umer Beauty Saloon

You’ll find our shop right at the Main Chowk in the Soura area of Nowshera. We’ve been part of this Srinagar neighborhood for a long time now. It’s a busy corner, and there is always a lot of traffic and people moving about outside. Umer Beauty Saloon is where local men come to get their hair cut or have a shave. No fancy signs or neon lights are used, just a simple door that’s usually open. Inside, the setup is pretty standard. We have the usual barber chairs and a few benches for people waiting their turn. Some old pictures are on the walls and the mirrors have seen better days, but they work well enough. Talking about everything from the weather to what’s happening in the market is common while we work. It’s a good place to catch up on local news. Srinagar winters can be very cold, so the shop is kept as warm as possible for our customers. Nothing too modern is done here, just the classic cuts that people around here like. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming to us since they were young. It’s a small operation with just a couple of us working the scissors. If you are near the 190011 area and need a trim, you can just stop by the Main Chowk. We don't worry about being the most modern shop, we just focus on the job.
