Taskeen Beauty Palour

We've been here at Main Chowk in Noor Bagh for a while now. Taskeen Beauty Palour isn't fancy, just a small place on the Main Road where people from Srinagar come to get their hair done or maybe some threading. It gets busy during wedding season, but usually, it's just neighbors stopping by. We don't have a big sign or anything, but everyone knows the spot near the 190012 area. Sometimes the tea runs out, and we have to send someone down the street. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but inside we just focus on the work. People sit on the chairs, wait their turn, and talk about what’s happening in the city. We do basic stuff like cutting hair and maybe some henna if we have time. It's not a spa with music and candles. It’s just us. The mirrors have a few spots on them, and the floor gets covered in hair by noon, but we sweep it up when we can. Working in Noor Bagh means seeing the same faces every week, which is nice. Most of our clients live right here in the neighborhood. We open in the morning and stay until the sun goes down or whenever the last person leaves. There isn't a website or anything like that. If you need something, you just walk in. We try to keep things simple and honest here. It's just a regular shop doing regular work for the people around Main Road.
