Chayya Beauty Salon And Spa is on the Main Road in the Main Market of Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar. The area is 190008. We are right in the middle of the market, so there’s always something happening right outside our door. It’s a busy place with people buying groceries and clothes. Our shop is a bit more than just a hair place, as we do some spa things too, but it’s still very simple. We have a couple of rooms in the back for the spa work and some chairs in the front for hair and faces. The building is standard for this part of Srinagar. We have to deal with the cold in the winter and the crowds in the summer. It’s a local business run by people who live nearby. We don't use any fancy marketing. Most people find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. We keep our tools in drawers and try to stay organized. It’s a small space, so it can get crowded if more than three people are waiting. We have some old magazines for people to look at. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we focus on the work instead. It’s just a practical spot for the ladies in Jawahar Nagar to get some peace for an hour. We try to stay open until the market starts to close down.
