Angels Beauty Care

Angels Beauty Care is right in the middle of everything at Lal Chowk in Srinagar. Our address is on the Main Road in the Abi Guzar area. Because we are in such a central location, it is always very busy outside our windows. You can hear the buses and the shouting of the vendors all day long. The shop is small and we have to be careful about how we move around so we don't bump into each other. We have some basic equipment and a few chairs for the customers. The walls are decorated with some old posters that have been there since we opened. We don’t have a fancy reception desk; usually, someone just greets you when you walk in. It’s a practical place for people who are already out shopping in Lal Chowk and need a quick break to get something done. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use candles or a small torch to finish up. That’s just life in this part of the city. We keep our tools in plastic bins under the counters to save space. It is not the most modern looking place, but we keep it clean. Most people who come here like that they can just drop in without making a big deal out of it. We try to keep the mirrors clean even when the dust from the street comes inside the shop. It is just a part of our daily work here.
