The K J C

The K J C is a small place on the ground floor in the 110075 area. We don't have a very long address or a big fancy building. It is just a ground floor unit where we keep our things and do our daily business. Being on the ground floor is good because people don't have to look for stairs or elevators to find us. We have been here for some time now and the neighbors know who we are. The area is mostly quiet compared to the center of the city, which is nice for us. We spend our mornings setting things up and checking what needs to be done for the day. There is not a lot of space for extra stuff so we have to keep everything organized. The walls are plain and we haven't spent much on decorations because we think the work is more important. Most of the people who stop by are from the nearby apartments or offices. We keep the door open when the weather is nice to let some fresh air in. It is a simple life running a small ground floor shop. We don't have a big marketing budget or anyone telling us how to look. It is just a practical space where we come every morning to do our jobs and then we lock up at night and go home to our families.
