Cosy Restaurant

This is our little place at B-1/30 on the Hauz Khas Main Road. We sit right across from the Aurobindo Place Market, which is a landmark most people in this part of Delhi know well. The pincode is 110016. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside, especially when we have a full house during the afternoon. We have a few tables and they are usually occupied by people who just want a break from the heat or the noise outside. It isn't a place with a lot of bells and whistles. We keep the menus simple and the staff is just a handful of local guys who know the neighborhood. The building itself is older, and you can see that in the floors and the ceiling, but it has a bit of character. We spend a lot of our time making sure the ingredients are fresh every morning. The market across the street makes it easy to get what we need. It’s a bit loud because of the traffic on the main road, but that is just part of being in this area. We don't have any big corporate rules here. We just try to make sure everyone gets their order on time. If we’re busy, you might have to wait a minute, but we do our best to keep things moving. It’s just a regular local spot for regular people who want a meal without any fuss. We have been here for years and we know the street like the back of our hands.
