Aravali Villa

Being right near the Indira Gandhi International Airport has its ups and downs. We are located on Rajokri Band Road, just off NH 8. You can hear the planes taking off sometimes, but you sort of get used to it after a few days. The Rajokri area is an interesting spot because it feels a bit separate from the main madness of South Delhi, even though the highway is right there. Most people find us when they have a long layover or need a place to stay that isn't too far from the terminal. The traffic on NH 8 can be a real headache during rush hour, so we tell everyone to leave a little extra time if they are heading out. We’ve got a small team here that handles the daily stuff, from keeping the rooms ready to making sure the front gate is clear. It’s not a huge fancy operation, just a villa where people can crash for a bit. The Rajokri Band Road itself is a bit dusty sometimes, but it’s a direct shot to the airport. We see a lot of different faces coming through, mostly people tired from flying or waiting for a morning flight. It gets pretty quiet late at night once the main road traffic thins out. We just focus on keeping the place running and making sure the lights are on for whoever shows up late.
