Cosy Restaurant

We are tucked away at Shop Number B1/30 on the Main Road in Hauz Khas. If you know where Aurobindo Place Market is, we are right across from there. It’s a busy part of Delhi, so there’s always something happening on the street outside our door. The restaurant is small, hence the name, I guess. We have been in this spot for a good bit of time now. The walls are a bit plain and the furniture is just what we could get when we started. We don't have a manager in a suit or anything; it’s just us working the floor and the kitchen. Some days are really quiet and we just sit and watch the cars go by, but other days the place is packed with students and people from the offices nearby. We try to keep things simple. The kitchen isn't huge, so we have to be organized or it gets messy fast. Sometimes the lights flicker a little, but we’re used to it. People mostly come in for a quick bite before they head over to the market. We don't do anything fancy with the plating. It’s just food on a plate, served warm. We like being in Hauz Khas because there is always energy around, even late in the evening. Most of us live not too far from here, so the commute isn't bad. We just show up, cook, and go home when the shift is over. It’s a steady job and we like the people who visit us.
